Meet "The Sand Eagles"

The Green Eagles suffered a major upset in the last FIFA Beach soccer World Cup 2013 - Africa Qualifier, held in Morocco, where they were left outside the World Cup.

That was truly bad news for a team who had been offering flashing performances lately, including a brilliant victory in last edition of the Copa Lagos, where they defeated Portugal, one of the big monsters of the Beach Soccer global stage.

Precisely playing back at home, and with full confidence, the Nigerians want to begin climbing back to the highest place of the African Beach Soccer. Audu's side banks a huge amount of talent, and spirit, to do that.

Nigeria is aiming to establish themselves as the dominant force in African beach soccer.
